I finished this painting today as the 13th Painting featured in a Series of Commissioned works for an Insurance Company here in the Southeast. I will be designing a 2026 Calendar for the Company featuring one Painting per month plus an extra for December 2025.
I began this painting on a 48" x 36" Gallery Wrapped Canvas. I primed the Canvas with a couple of coats of Bob Ross Black Gesso.
After loosley sketching in the various elements I began blocking in the clouds and mountain range. Moving forward, I added the trees, lamp post, cabin and fence. The mailbox was an afterthought because I needed something to balance the layout.
I will be delivering it in a few weeks. i will frame it and get it ready to hang in some office somewhere. I hate to see it go actually.
Very nice, would grace many a wall 👍
reminds me of kincaid... meets bob ross. Very good.
Really beautiful, and perfect for a calendar.
Gorgeous as usual!
Amazing composition, I really enjoyed taking in all the elements of your painting :)
